The Job
Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products seeks a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This position supports all facilities activities in multiple locations as well as performing a variety of administrative duties. The Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, manage contractors, and facilitate communication between departments.
Duties:
- Assist the facilities manager in all facilities activities for multiple locations
- Primary point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information from the facilities department
- Coordinate medium facilities projects, activities, work direction, support systems
- Identify requisite staff (internal and external), tools, materials
- Oversee contractor project work
- Request quotes, review bids, contracts
- Track, record progress, completion
- Provide administrative support to the facilities manager and department
- Manage facilities records and schedules
- Prepare and reconcile job-code statements
- Process invoices and work with AP to correct invoicing issues
- Prepare requisitions
- Maintain records
- Manage, oversee regularly required building, systems, equipment maintenance
- Stand-in for Emergency Action Plan responsibilities
- Perform minor routine maintenance
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience or training in any of the following: construction, facilities or building systems
- Ability to work with internal and external customers professionally
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to perform and manage complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook. CAD experience a plus
- Willing to be OSHA, radiation and CAD trained
- Availability to work overtime as necessary
