2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Below are our preferred requirements, skills, and duties you will perform as our 2nd Shift Production Supervisor.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.
Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations.
Ability to motivate and manage reporting personnel, as well as work in a productive, cooperative manner with other company supervisors and managers.
Computer literacy at a level of competence to enable accessing and updating production reporting programs, access and transfer of CNC Programs, and E-mail.
At least 4 years' CNC machining experience and experience in all production functions of an industrial machine shop.
At least 2 years' experience in a leadership role with at least 3 direct report tos
Ability to simultaneously schedule and coordinate multiple jobs according to priority.
Following company policies, plans, and procedures.
Execution of company production goals.
Representation of the company with external contacts including customer relations and vendor relations.
Adequate control, protection, and use of the assets of the company.
Effective supervision and motivation of personnel reporting to this position to ensure maximum overall and individual productivity.
Evaluation, development, and training of personnel reporting to this position.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable government (including Federal, State and Local) laws, statutes, and regulations.
Following the LMT safety program and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies such as OSHA.
Ensuring the effective processing of all orders through the production department to ensure that completion time and fill rates are met.
Meeting customer time, and quality requirements within cost limitations set by the Plant Manager.
On-going monitoring and verification of quality at each stage of production to ensure that the finished product meets specifications.
Providing feedback on product designs considering functionality, predictability, and cost.
Ensure piece rates are meet at least at a 98% accuracy
On-going communication with the Plant Manager, Quality Manager, Purchasing, Tooling services, Tool Room, and Maintenance to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting output.
Direct supervision of the personnel reporting to this position, and in-direct supervision of all subordinate personnel.
Daily review of production status of jobs and taking corrective action as required.
Daily assessment of individual employee performance.
Weekly review of the upcoming labor requirements for personnel planning and staffing purposes.
Weekly justification of production status of all jobs.
Completion of an employee performance evaluation for each of the individuals reporting to this position at least semi-annually.
Any other duties requested by the Plant Manager.
